Djalta and Bimms, two western lowland gorillas finally met their human friends after their departure 12 years ago. They were re-introduced to the wild after they came of the cage by an English conservationist Damian Aspinall and her daughter Tansy Aspinall. And how these gorillas welcome them after all those years is really touching.
Djalta and Bimms were born at Howletts Wild Animal Park in Kent. So, they never knew the world beyond their protective walls. They played with Tansy, then a toddler, and enjoyed time with other humans in the park. But in 2003, they were released into the forest of Gabon, West Africa as part of a conservation program to re-introduce gorillas back to the wild.
In this video, these gorillas are re-united with their human friends. They recognized Damian Aspinall and showered him with hugs and kisses. But will they be able to recognize his daughter Tansy? Watch this beautiful video to know!
