There’s no doubt that quite a lot of thing have changed in our country since 1969. However this amazing video proves that though various things change with time, they also tend to stay the same. Originally written by Francis Bellamy in1892, it was adopted by U.S Congress in 1945. The words “under God” were added some years later under President Eisenhower. This video clip from the famous comedian Red Skelton’s show, The Red Skelton Hour shows the classic moment when Red talked about our nation’s pledge.
