Many times we see wax versions of food on display when we are passing by Japanese Restaurants. They look really amazing when we see them. They are of high quality versions and are visually indistinguishable from real food.

Sometimes we even get confused thinking they are real food. But they are not rather they are finely crafted wax sculptures. The practice of making these wax sculptures began from Gujo town in Gifu prefecture. This practice is now famous all over Japan.

A man is demonstrating how he makes a perfect head of cabbage in this video. Even we can try making these wax foods by watching this video. This artistry is actually amazing.
